Concrete Floor Painting: Is it Difficult to Accomplish?

Curing compounds must also be devoid or put to a minimum concentration on your flooring since it has a tendency to interfere with the sticking of the coat to the surface. As long as the curing compound concentration appears relatively high, it is not good to proceed with coating the flooring for it might only break off after awhile.
 
Relative to curing compounds, the flooring should also be devoid of moisture. If moisture is found visible in the surface, it should be removed or coated with other coating to seal it off prior to application of the paint as the same would interfere in the adhesion of the material to the surface.
 
Prior to coating, it is also necessary to assess the profile or general feel of the surface. For this purpose, it would be best if the surface has a medium sand paper feel as this guarantees perfect adhesion of the coat. If this is not yet achieved, it would help to apply acid etcher on the floor. After application, one should ensure that the acid is removed thoroughly from the surface with the use of good flowing water. Aside from it will ensure that your floor is ready for coating due to a good profile, it will also improve adhesion.
